New Heights in 2017, Pushing on in 2018!

Vol. 17, No. 1

The IEEE Transactions on NanoBioscience thank its reviewers, editorial board members, and, most importantly, its authors and readers for their support in 2017 and wish them all the best for 2018!

The Transactions reached new heights in 2017 with a record number of 206 submitted manuscripts and an impact factor of 2.771. The impact factor moves the Transactions in the second quartile of journals in the category “Nanoscience & Nanotechnology,” which is also a welcome development. The average time to first decision for manuscripts submitted in 2017 was again two months and the acceptance rate was about 40%. The papers published by the Transactions in their 16-year history have been downloaded 60,000 times in 2017, which represents a 30% increase over the 2016 numbers.
